My commute to work used to be about 45 minutes before I moved. It started to get so tiring that I decided it was time to make a change. Not only was I missing out on 45 minutes of my own life twice a day, I was spending a ton on gas. I knew it would be hard to find a neighborhood that matched the safety I felt in my current home, but I just stopped caring about that. I planned on keeping my job for the long haul, and I knew that I couldn’t commute this long for years on end. My husband finally gave in to my whining and we started searching for a home, and when we found a good one we bought it. The neighborhood was not as safe as we had hoped for, but we searched west newton adt security and decided we would get a home security system. The move has definitely cut down my commute and I am much happier. I think that getting the security system was a sufficient response to our safety concerns, and we feel protected
I made this delicious dinner for Christmas and according to my husband, it was his favorite steak ever. I cook the steak in the barbecue grill and I am so proud of myself to see my food, it's perfectly cooked and soft. The hungry tummy was full!

When I bought my house I knew I needed to get to work. There were of course tons of cosmetic changes I needed to make but at the end of the day what I really needed to get to was the urgent stuff. The roof above the bathroom leaked and some of the windows lacked locks. I mean, who lives in a house where the windows don’t lock!? Anyway, after the first couple of months getting all that stuff done I got to the more fun stuff. I went to www.cabletvadvisor.com and looked into satellite tv and I even looked into getting a hot tub for the porch. I just wanted this house to be a place I was proud of and it was far from it when I bought it…but that’s why I got such a good deal in the first place! I’m excited to own my first home and it’s been fun making all the big decisions by myself and not having to ask anyone else for permission…

There aren’t many things about being a husband I don’t like but laundry is definitely one of them. I feel like I spend so much time folding and ironing and pressing and such and it’s so tedious and boring! I finally convinced my husband we needed EXPERTSatellite.com satellite so I could watch my shows while I was doing his shirts and he relented so now at least I get to catch up on my trashy TV while I’m doing my chores. I am secretly thinking about taking all his stuff to the dry cleaner, though, since they’d do a better job and I know it would save me hours a week in the long run. I hate having to keep stuff like that from him but he’s so picky about how I spend my money I know he wouldn’t understand why I couldn’t just do it himself! I’m thinking about making him iron his own shirts next week just so he’ll get why I hate doing it so much! That’ll sure show him!

Texas is notorious for doing things differently than other states…remember that time the split off a couple hundred years ago and decided they were going to be their own country? They also have their own way with barbecue…no other state does beef the way they do! I had no idea until I moved here and started poking around on sites like www.texasElectricityProviders.com/ that Texas was deregulated in terms of energy. That’s not fair though, since some other states are too, like New York. They’re the only state that rocks the cowboy hat without irony and the only people who don’t think twice at going through a can of hairspray a week. I’m not really fitting in here but I definitely am finding some humor in my Texas situation…who would have thought I’d be here? I love living here and people watching has never been more entertaining. The folks here are incredibly welcoming, though, and I have nothing but good things to say about the way they’ve pulled me into their community with open arms.

My favorite cameo appearance on a television show was when Ricky Gervais appeared on the NBC show the “Office”. I watched the show on satellite TV from www.direc4u.com/ and it was hilarious. Gervais is the executive producer on the NBC show and stars in the UK version of the show. The cameo took place near an elevator with Steve Carell's character Michael Scott meeting Gervais's character David Brent.
The two men discussed how they have strange choices in comedy and Michael Scott said that he is working on an English character and Gervais said that he is working on a Chinese character. They discussed comedy and if Dunder Mifflin has any job openings. The cameo was so hilarious even though it lasted about one minute.
What is so hilarious is that the character of Michael Scott will be leaving Dunder Mifflin soon because Steve Carell is exiting the series in the next few months. Everyone has been asking who will replace him and Gervais's name has been mentioned quite frequently. I like Ricky Gervais because he just has one of those great comedic personalities. He made his cameo hilarious without having to be too clever which I enjoyed immensely. Few television shows get cameo appearances right but the “Office” writers really nailed Gervais's and has made us wonder if Gervais will take over for Carell in the next few months.

Before my kids go back to school, I always let them each have a day where they get to pick whatever it is they want to do. During the day, my kids get to pick one activity of their choosing to do. It really can be anything they want to do. I leave the doors open for creativity and always love seeing what my kids plan for the day.
Before we leave the house, I always have a child set the home home alarm Systems. This teaches my kids how to take care of their belongings. Usually one of my kids will have a unique activity lined up for the day that I would have never guessed.
For example, one time my child actually asked if we could go sky diving. He was twelve at the time, and I thought he was crazy. But, being the parent that I am, I actually went through with this idea. Another child wanted to learn how to surf one day. So, the whole family learned how to surf one day. We love being the fun family that is always up for anything. By giving my kids a day they get to choose what to do, it shows them I care about their creativity as a parent. They love this day and look forward to it all year long!
My latest reality TV guilty pleasure stars an athlete. I’ve always been a sports fan and the concept of “Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch” is so great I couldn’t not give it a try.
Instead of a regular old dating competition, this one eliminates Chad’s potential girlfriends by a bracket system. This means that any woman that goes on a date has a 50 percent chance of going home, which all of the contestants saw about 100 times during each episode. It makes people a little more nervous, which at this point in reality TV dating shows’ timeline is a good, entertaining thing.
I’ve followed Ochocinco on the field for a while with the help of satellite internet portland and he always seems to be such a character, which so far is translating pretty well into the show. I also like that although the show is pretty crazy; it’s not so crazy that it’s unbearable to watch.
This makes me even more excited for the NFL season to start so I can watch him on the field again for the Bengals.
Plus, I can even download a bracket through my wild blue to keep up with the elimination rounds. Hey, it’s not exactly March Madness, but I’ll take it.
